Start Here

Four short pages before any pattern. Read them in order; everything else in the DSA track assumes you have.

If you have never studied computer science, this is where the course begins. If you have, it will take you twenty minutes and it will still change how you attack problems — because the Five Moves on page 3 are the method every later page uses.

Pages

  1. The Five Basic Terms — variable, list, loop, if, function. The only vocabulary you need.
  2. Big-O: Measuring Speed — counting steps, the six shapes, and the one sentence you say after every solution.
  3. The Five-Step Problem Method — the method, run end to end on Two Sum.
  4. Inside a 45-Minute Coding Round — the clock, what is scored, what to say out loud.

Then go to Arrays & Hashing.
